I have been a Helicopter Operator, FBO, Chief Pilot of Two Companies and a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for 31 years. As a Safety Councilor and promoter of Safe Helicopter Operations, I’ve had many occasions to work with Mr. Lon Wimberley.
His professional approach is always welcome and satisfying for the trainee. For more than 10 years he dealt with our Companies, all its employees and Customers, and the local Helicopter community was much better off for it.
I feel his new ambitions are well deserved and will make for safer pilots through annual recurrent training.
